Overview

DahabPulse (dahabpulse.com) is a free gold and silver price tracker for the GCC and Egypt, operated by Emdash in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The site requires no account and no sign-in, and we never ask you for personal information — no name, no email address, no payment details. This page explains the small amount of data that is collected automatically and how we handle it.

Information We Collect

We do not collect, store, or process personally identifiable information. The only data collected is aggregate, anonymous usage statistics, via the following services:

• Google Analytics 4: uses cookies to measure visits, pages viewed, device type, and approximate location (derived from IP address). We use these aggregate statistics only to understand how the site is used. See how Google uses data from partner sites, or opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
• Vercel Analytics & Speed Insights: privacy-friendly analytics that use no cookies and do not track individual visitors across sessions — aggregate data only (page views, referrers, load performance).
• Server logs: our hosting provider (Vercel) records standard request data — IP address and browser type — for security and operations, automatically deleted after a short period.

Cookies & Local Storage

The site itself sets one functional cookie and one local-storage item — neither is used for tracking:

• NEXT_LOCALE — remembers your preferred language (Arabic or English).
• dahabpulse_currency— stores your preferred currency in your browser's localStorage; it never leaves your device.

In addition, Google Analytics sets its own cookies as described above. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time — the site will keep working normally.

Third-Party Services

• Fonts: the site loads its fonts from Google Fonts servers, which means your browser sends a request (including your IP address) to Google when a page loads.
• Advertising: the site does not currently display third-party advertising. If that changes in the future (for example Google AdSense), we will update this policy first.
• Embedded widget: other websites may embed the DahabPulse price widget. Your browser then fetches prices from our servers directly — the standard server logs described above apply, and the widget sets no cookies or trackers.
• External links: some pages link to external websites (such as data sources). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share any visitor data with anyone. The only parties that process technical data on our behalf are the service providers named above (Google for analytics, Vercel for hosting), each under its own privacy policy.

Children's Privacy

The site does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. The content is general-audience price information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date above.
